This project, first called Rewear, Repeat and then called Grow with You, spanned over the course of a year. The inspiration came from my passion and drive to raise awareness about the harmful practices of fast fashion.

I did months of research on different ways we can make our clothes grow with us. Mending, Embroidery, Painting, Reusing fabric, etc.

I worked closely with my professor at the time to think of ways to bring Grow with You to others. I carved the initial logo out of linoleum and stamped clothes to be in our end-of-semester art show. After that, I worked to design an app. Then, a website. Ultimately, I ended up guiding a workshop where we used recycled fabric from the fibers department to paint patches.

This project is still in-process and something I work on from time to time out of enjoyment and passion.
