For this branding project, I worked to create an identity for a place very special to myself and many others in Boone, NC. The Caldwell overlook is one full of sunset chasers, friend groups playing hackysack, and families sharing conversations over a picnic. ​My friends and I love to get some food, a board game, and a tapestry and go watch the sunset in our beloved town.

I wanted to encompass the warmness, the friendliness, of the overlook while using linework to depict the connections people make with the site. I also used lines and shapes from pictures I've taken at the overlook before.

As a takeaway, I stamped tote bags for people to be able to take thier games, blankets, and more to the overlook in (in style!).
