There are 10 questions with 10 symbols that correspond. For example, "Is the impact they've made on your life positive?" If the answer is yes, they get the symbol. One by one, overlapping shapes created portraits of my past and present. Each layer was illustrated with purpose in order to create the depth I desired.

Resurfaced was displayed at the Kings Street Art Collective space on Kings Street in Boone, NC. At the exhibition, viewers were able to walk up to the lightbox and interact with the glyphs.
